Advanced Independence is requesting your support in fundraising for an important initiative that
will greatly benefit the individuals we serve at our Adult Day Program. Our program provides
essential services to adults with disabilities, helping them lead more independent, fulfilling lives.
However, to continue advancing the quality of care, education, and engagement we offer, we
need new laptops to integrate technology into our programming.
Why Laptops Are Needed: Access to technology has become essential in nearly every aspect of
life. For our program participants, laptops would serve as a gateway to:
 Educational tools: Interactive learning programs that promote cognitive development
and job readiness.
 Skill development: Technology-based activities that teach essential digital skills for
future employment and daily living.
 Social engagement: Opportunities to connect with family, friends, and the broader
community via video calls, emails, and online resources.
 Creative expression: Platforms for participants to explore arts, hobbies, and interests in
new ways through digital media and online tools.
These benefits directly enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities, empowering them to
become more self-sufficient, confident, and connected to the world around them.
How You Can Help: We are aiming to raise $5000.00 to purchase 10 laptops for our computer
room for our program. Each laptop costs approximately $350-$450, and the total funds will
cover both the devices and any necessary software or accessories to ensure they are accessible
and user-friendly for all participants.
