Newport Fishermen’s Wives

The Newport Fishermen's Wives is a non-profit corporation of fishermen's wives, mothers, daughters, and friends, supporting a strong sense of community helping to further the causes of industry, safety, seafood education, and family support.
Currently, we are dedicated to keeping the Coast Guard rescue helicopter stationed in Newport.  In addition, our community  commitment can be seen through events such as our annual Blessing of the Fleet, Fishermen's Appreciation BBQ, post-secondary scholarships and maintaining our Fishermen's Memorial. In addition, we support our fishing community such as our Holiday Outreach Program, safety gear outreach and helping fishing families in crisis.
