Our cup of Chai☕️ needs your help!!😫

Chai was rushed to the vet today and hospitalized with sudden onset of nonstop vomiting and bloody diarrhea.

By the time we arrived and had his blood taken, he was beyond dehydrated and his white blood cell count was dropping rapidly. Had he not gone in when he did, he was headed for possible septic shock.

Chai never puts random objects in his mouth or chews his toys up, so although an obstruction was a possibility we were all less concerned about it and more confused as to what was going on.

Chai has HGE - hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Basically the lining of his stomach is so inflamed that it is bleeding from the inside. Causing him immense discomfort, vomiting and bloody diarrhea. 😩

Chai will need a couple of weeks to fully recover, including take home medications, supportive care & lots of rest.

Can you help us fund his emergency care?! Our bill is approx $1200 and he will need additional medications and supplies at his foster home. Our goal is $2000.
