General Andrew Pickens was a hero of the American revolution, he and his family are among the most influential people in South Carolina. The Pickens gravesite at the Old Stone Church in Clemson has fallen into a state of disrepair and is in danger of collapsing. Our chapter (The General Andrew Pickens Chapter of the South Carolina Society of The Sons of the American Revolution) has taken on the project to raise funds to have the gravesite professionally restored.
