Saco River Wildlife Center is a resource for the public when they come across an animal in need, whether it's an orphan, sick or injured. We have taken in over 1,370 of Maine’s sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife! We work closely with many state agencies and the public to help Maine's native mammals including raccoons, foxes, fishers, bobcats, opossums, porcupines and many more. With the increased number of patients in the past year, our costs have also increased. We feed a variety of specialty foods to our patients along with multiple medications. We strive to be a reliable source of information to keep the public and wildlife safe as well as teaching the value of our wild neighbors. We appreciate all of our supporters who are dedicated to helping us help the wildlife we care for!
