About the Organization / Trajectory

Sad Magic Productions has, to date, developed its work through workshop productions as a way to build community, refine craft, and ensure the stories are held with care. The company’s first project, Sad Magic Sins, marked its debut in February 2025  Its second full-length work is a collaboration with Peer Films called Down Once More, which continues to expand that artistic language through a workshop model. Down Once More is set to debut in Dec 2025. The company’s long-term goal is to mount full productions as sustained support and resources grow.
