Since January 2022, we've been able to save just shy of 550 animals. That's 550 animals that were going to be euthanized scared in a shelter. Animals that wandered too far from home and wound up on the wrong piece of land where they were threatened to be shot and killed. Babies found on the side of the road in boxes left to fend for themselves.

To be able to save as many lives as we have, we've relied on an amazing group of volunteers give their time, energy, and money to to give them their freedom rides. And not just a 20 minute strolls across town. Multi-state transports from across Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri, Texas, and Illinois. Without transport out of the shelters, lives simply can't be saved.

However, finding transport volunteers is getting tougher and tougher for every shelter and rescue. Animals are being left behind, sometimes to die in overpopulated shelters, because they don't have a way out 😢. We've rented vans on multiple occasions but that's simply not a feasible solution long term.

Our mission is help animals off of death row so they can find their true forever home and we aren't going to let not having a set of wheels be the reason why their lives end.

We're starting this fundraiser with the clear goal of $10,000 to purchase a dedicated transport van and we need your help. We're aiming get a modest, used utility van that will allow us to help transport not only our own animals, but animals other rescues in Iowa have saved as well.

Donating isn't just buying us a van, though. Donating is giving a family a puppy to grow up with and a dog to take on adventures. It's giving someone a companion to cuddle on their lap after a long day at work. Your donation is giving animals their guaranteed boarding pass and a seat to freedom.
