Church in the Sahara — Faith in the Desert

In the heart of the Sahara Desert, a growing community of new Christian believers is forming — but they need a safe place to gather, worship, and grow together.

The Upset The World Foundation (UTWF) is launching the Church & Community Building in the Sahara campaign to raise funds for the first faith and fellowship center — a sanctuary of hope, teaching, and prayer for converts who are risking everything to follow Christ.

Our Mission

Your support will help:

Build a small church structure where believers can gather safely for worship and teaching.
Provide clean water access, seating, and basic shelter from the harsh desert elements.
Establish a community hub for literacy classes, prayer, and discipleship programs.
Supply Bibles and learning materials in native languages (Hausa and Fulani).

Every brick you fund helps create a lasting symbol of love, faith, and light in one of the most remote regions of the world.

Our Broader Vision

This church is more than a building — it’s the foundation for an entire Saharan faith community. As the body grows, UTWF plans to expand into education, housing for missionaries, and literacy training, creating a full ecosystem of spiritual and social transformation across multiple desert villages.

Together, we are planting seeds of faith that will stand strong against the storms of persecution and poverty.

Phase 1- Goal: $12,000 - (1 church and Small Community)

Your generosity will build the first permanent church and community space, complete with a roof, altar, and seating — offering believers a protected place to gather, worship, and grow.
