Help Rebuild the SandBoxes!

When this Sand Sculpture Gallery was created, back in 2019, no one expected it to be here for more than one holiday season...

But here we are - 6 years later - wishing we had used treated lumber...

The sculptures are beautiful from the front, and we are so happy to bring you an ever-changing gallery of sculptures featuring the work of some of the world's most talented sculptors. But if you were to take a look "backstage," you would see that our foundation is ....shaky at best.

We have found a local contractor who will rebuild our sandboxes using treated lumber lined with plastic -- with no loss of sculpture. Built to last - unlike the sculptures, of course. The pricetag is fair, but still higher than we had hoped for.

This hits at a rough time of year when the donation boxes are averaging .07 per visitor and the visitor count is low. And yet, the work must be done... hopefully before things start falling down. Any amount will help, but donors who contribute $50 or more may find themselves honored on our new ThankYOU Wall!
