Bunnyfest

The San Diego House Rabbit Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  It takes a village to keep San Diego House Rabbit Society going and the operational cost per year to care for the rabbits can exceed $630,000 per year.  Each year, SDHRS rescues hundreds of rabbits from shelters, as strays and from individual relinquishments, many in need of medical care. Last year through our fundraising and volunteer work, we provided medical care to over 100 rabbits in addition to covering costs for spays, neuters and vaccinations to the general public. Since 2020, we’ve also protected over 1700 rabbits from RHDV through our lower-cost vaccine clinics. All proceeds from the  San Diego Bunnyfest sponsors, vendor fees and attendees go towards our operational costs.
