The Santa Fe Community Yoga Center (SFCYC) is more than just a yoga studio. We are a nonprofit led by folks who know the transformative benefits of yoga first hand and understand yoga practice can lead not only to greater individual happiness, self-compassion, and self-reflection, but also to a more just and equitable society. Thus, we are committed to ensuring every single individual can access safe, inclusive, anti-appropriative and decolonial yoga instruction regardless of ability to pay.

For nearly 30 years, we've provided affordable, high-quality yoga and holistic healing instruction through public classes and a rotating host of specialty programs such as Yoga in Schools, Yoga en Español, Bilingual Yoga, By-Donation Prenatal/Postpartum Yoga, Yoga in Prisons, Yoga for Veterans, and programming for those in recovery. We serve thousands of clients every year, many of whom would not be able to afford a regular yoga practice without our offerings. In light of the ongoing pandemic, we've further expanded our reach by opening a Virtual Yoga Studio through which folks near and far can join us to learn and practice yoga in community.

Recognizing that accessible wellness programming is more necessary now than ever, we've relied largely on loan money to continue offering a steady stream of wellness classes. While, importantly, access to low-interest loans helped us to continue to provide affordable wellness instruction throughout the pandemic, it is not sustainable to continue relying on loans to fund our programs. Thus, we are asking for your help as we work to rebuild our community yoga center so that we may offer affordable wellness programming to the people of New Mexico for many years to come!

Thank you for considering donating to our organization! Should you choose to donate, your donation will have a tangible impact on our ability to continue operations. For example, $40 is enough to cover the cost of providing one Yoga in Schools class to students in a school which otherwise couldn't provide such programming, $500 is enough to cover the cost of providing a full semester of Yoga in Schools instruction in one school, and $1000 is enough to cover a full month of rent for our beautiful studio space!
