Right now, today, 350 young people and a community of veterans are about to lose something that has changed their lives.

Blueprint Music Academy in Thousand Oaks is more than a recording studio. It is the place where a teenager who never believed in himself heard his voice played back through professional speakers for the first time and cried. It is where veterans who came home carrying things they could not put into words found a way to finally let it out. It is where kids from our community are learning that they have something worth saying and the talent to say it.

Blueprint runs two nonprofit programs. Guitars for Vets, which uses music to support the healing of our veterans. And Blueprint Music Academy, which gives young people ages 5 years and up a real world recording experience, a mentor panel of community professionals, and a pathway into careers they never thought were possible for them.

Right now those doors are about to close.

The rent is due. The overhead is real. And without immediate help Blueprint will not survive the week.

$5,000 keeps Blueprint open through this month. $10,000 gives us the runway to build the fundraising infrastructure that makes sure this never happens again.
