Hayley and I met Marissa through Dogology many years ago. Two summers ago we reached out to see if she needed volunteers for her rescue as we were looking to give back in our spare time. Little did we know, we would get hooked on the world of rescue rapidly. On our first intake day, the litters of puppies came up in really bad shape. It was a harsh reality of the state of animal welfare in the south. From that day forward, we have been a small part of hundreds of puppies’ stories as they gained a fresh start up here in New England. Marissa gives her all to this rescue, and has inspired so many of us to do the same. We are thrilled for NEPR’s future and look forward to supporting through these fundraising efforts!
