In Santa Barbara, we are lucky to have an incredibly rich history of excellence when it comes to Ultimate. The first men’s championship was won by the Condors in 1977. Since then, there have been over 25 national and international championships in both the Men’s and Women’s divisions. While there are numerous ways to play as an adult in Santa Barbara, historically there has been no infrastructure for youth ultimate. In 2014, Santa Barbara Youth Ultimate 501(c)3 was established to “develop first-time, youth ultimate players in Santa Barbara.”
