What is SCAPA?

The School for the Creative and Performing Arts at Bluegrass (SCAPA) is a gifted and talented school in Lexington, Kentucky, serving the entire Lexington community. SCAPA identifies giftedness in one of nine arts areas: ballet, band, contemporary dance, literary arts, drama, piano, strings, visual art, and vocal music. SCAPA assists all students in learning to their greatest potential, both academically and artistically.

What is SCAPA FOAS?

SCAPA Friends of the Arts School (FOAS) is the not-for-profit 501(c)(3) student, teacher, and parent organization dedicated to serving and supporting SCAPA.

How does my support help?

Your support helps students, faculty, and staff at SCAPA focus on learning regardless of their background, to expand opportunities to every family in Fayette County, and to bring the creative arts to more people in our community.
