Samaritan Counseling Center Hawaiʻi’s Giving Challenge Drive 2025

At Samaritan Counseling Center Hawaiʻi (SCCH), we believe no one should face life’s hardest challenges alone. Every year, our counselors provide over 6,000 counseling sessions, and thanks to our Client Assistance Fund, 70–90% of clients receive financial support to access care they otherwise could not afford.

But the need is growing—particularly with federal cuts to Medicare and Medicaid—and we need your help!

This year, join us for Samaritan Counseling Center Hawaii's Giving Challenge Drive 2025, a community-wide Friendsgiving fundraising campaign to ensure that individuals and families across Hawaiʻi have access to high-quality counseling and mental health programs, regardless of ability to pay.

How It Works

Friendgiving is about coming together—with friends, family, and community—to support mental health in Hawaiʻi.

Start a team with your coworkers, church group, or ʻohana.
Join as an individual and invite your peers to support your personal campaign.
Raise funds together to provide life-changing counseling sessions for someone in need.

Every $175 you raise funds one counseling session—a moment of healing, hope, and connection for someone who may be struggling with depression, grief, anxiety, or trauma.

Hawaiʻi is a federally designated Mental Health Professional Shortage Area, meaning access is already limited. By rallying together through our Giving Drive, we can make sure more people get the care they deserve.
