The Friends of the Highlanders is a non-for-profit charitable foundation that supports disaster response teams who help citizens in need during natural disasters.

Your donation will equip the task forces to communicate and support the federal, state and local agencies by being “eyes on the ground” as well as "boots on the ground" when catastrophic events occur such as forest fires, ice-storms, hurricanes and tornadoes. During disasters, task forces will provide vital intel back to Governmental Emergency Operation Centers, and assist other agencies like law enforcement and/or emergency management departments in smaller communities that do not have the same resources as larger jurisdictions.
