For last year's inaugural SDC Step Challenge, I committed to taking steps to learn how to surf on my honeymoon. I'm proud to report I successfully stood up on a surfboard, but ultimately learned body boarding is more my speed. This year, I am committing to taking more hikes with my dogs, Ferdinand and Hammie (aka FerdnHam) who did not get to surf (or bodyboard), but are always enthusiastic to do anything outdoors. They are also a large reason why I am involved with The Street Dog Coalition. They are constant reminders of how important and special the human-animal bond is, and how everyone is deserving of unconditional love and adventure buddies.  Please join me with a donation or start your own fundraising page to help!
