Join Chief Scott Wahl and the San Diego Police Officers Association for the SDPOA Foundation's inaugural Pickleball Tournament - Rally for the Badge: Presented by Peter and Ghita Huffman - to raise funds for the SDPOA Memorial Fund, a program dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of our fallen officers.

The Memorial Fund provides financial and logistical assistance to allow San Diego Police Officers to attend memorial services for law enforcement personnel killed in the line of duty- both throughout California and across the United States. In recent years, SDPD officers have traveled to memorials in Arizona, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, Texas, and Washington. The fund also helps coordinate officer attendance at the California Peace Officers Memorial in Sacramento and the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC.

This presence at memorials represents a powerful show of support—not just from one department to another, but from our entire community. It is a solemn and vital tradition that helps families and departments feel seen, supported, and never forgotten.
