Support Local Figure Skating 2026 Fundraiser
As the country's top skaters head to Milan to represent the USA, local athletes of all ages and skill levels skate year-round at Patterson Ice Center with competitive dreams of their own! Our 2026 competitive figure skating season kicks off in March, and we need your help to raise $15,000 between February 6 and February 28, 2026.
We're turning to our fans, friends, families, and the community to help keep the sport of figure skating accessible, and to help us maintain the 30+ year tradition of the Greater Grand Rapids Figure Skating Club (GGRFSC). Your generous donation will directly cover the rising cost of ice time that the club pays for at our home rink. You will also help ensure the success of our upcoming season.
Support GGRFSC and your favorite skater by contributing today!
Fun facts about GGRFSC:
Figure skating is a year-round sport! We learn our new skating programs each winter, choosing our music and costumes, and competing around the state and country from spring through fall.
GGRFSC athletes range from beginner to international competitors, and from kindergarten through adult. Skaters represent many school districts throughout Kent County and homeschool.
Skaters practice two to six days per week throughout the year.
Every year, our club hosts two competitions at Patterson Ice Center and performs two community shows. You can check out our next community show this Spring!

For other ways to support GGRFSC, please consider purchasing a rink banner for display at Patterson Ice Center, underwriting elements of the two competitions we host, or volunteering with the club.
