As believers, we recognize the importance of alleviating the needs of our fellow brothers and sisters in faith.

However, it's not always easy to identify those in our communities that require assistance. 

The believers in need often hesitate seeking help, in order to preserve their dignity.

On the other hand, there is a steady increase in the amount of scams that defraud the community and prey on its generosity.

To solve these problems, we created Securing Relief.

Our verified crowdfunding campaigns help secure food, shelter, education, health expenses, transportation, repayment of debt, and other forms of relief for the believers in our communities facing financial hardship.

Those providing assistance can rest easy knowing each case is vetted with great care before it appears on our platform and get complete transparency on how funds are used.

Those receiving assistance maintain their privacy by remaining anonymous while general details about their challenging circumstances are shared.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

⚙️ Our Process

✔️ A request for assistance form is submitted by the applicant.

✔️ The applicant provides details about the type(s) of assistance being requested, amount, duration, what led to the current situation, when it began, what the long term solution is, other organizations that have been contacted, documentation that is available for verification purposes, and contact information.

✔️ Depending on the location, a member of our team meets the applicant in person or over the phone to go over the application and review documentation.

✔️ Once approved, a fundraising campaign is created on the platform.

✔️ Donations collected are used to take care of the applicant's needs directly (i.e. pay bills) by a member of our team. Barring extenuating circumstances, funds collected are not given directly to the applicant in the form of money.

Note: the nature of the assistance we provide is designed for hardships that are temporary and does not typically apply to situations that are expected to last beyond a year.
