Dear Friends,

On Erev Pesach, we didn’t expect to head to the bomb shelter but, as olim chadashim (new Israelis), we’ve learned that anything here is possible - actually anything. We also felt the prayers and merit of Jews around the world protecting us and sending their love to beat back our enemies.

To thank Hashem for the miracles we experienced, we are raising funds to sponsor the seder at Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.

Meir is the hospital that is closest to Yehuda and Shomron and has been treating many terror victims and wounded soldiers since Oct 7th. They are also a hospital that handles many high-risk pregnancies, with couples there waiting for complex procedures or staying with newborns that cannot go home yet.

Our goal is to raise $6,000 for a seder that will host 70 people. None of these guests will be home with their families this year, and this is not how they had wanted to spend their holiday.

Let’s make it a meaningful chag, no matter what brings these guests to our seder. Help us turn Meir Hospital into a home for Leil HaSeder and a place where Jews from all walks of life can come to find hope and healing.

May these families and all of Am Yisrael continue to see open, revealed miracles!

About Lev Chabad: Lev Chabad operates in 27 of Israel’s hospitals with staff whose entire lives are devoted to Hachnasat Orchim, Ahavat Yisrael and Bikur Cholim. They are chaplains and first responders to people’s spiritual and emotional needs. Among their projects are coffee carts, toy carts, transportation services, Shabbat services, and meals, all distributed to families and patients at no cost to them. Over the last 4 years, Lev Chabad has built 3 Ronald McDonald-style hotels where people can stay for free connected to the hospital and has a Bikur Cholim RV project with mobile hotel rooms parked in the hospital parking lot, allowing families to stay near their loved ones over Shabbat and during the week.
