Developed Through Lived Experience and Medical Expertise

One of the newest parts of our programming is Tayo and the Super Produce Pals at the Grocery Store!, written by our Chief Wellness Officer, Dr. Bisi Alli.

Dr. Alli is a board-certified Lifestyle Medicine physician and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Medical Women’s Association. She brings medical knowledge, prevention-focused leadership, and a deep commitment to helping children and families build healthy habits early in life.

Our programs are also shaped by the lived and professional experience of our Founder and Executive Director, Jacque Salomon. After transforming her own health, losing 164 pounds, and overcoming multiple chronic health conditions through evidence-based lifestyle changes, Jacque became a health and wellness coach, educator, program developer, and nationally recognized speaker.

She has shared her patient-to-coach journey and community-centered approach with healthcare professionals, wellness organizations, nonprofit leaders, and national audiences through platforms connected with Harvard Medical School’s Mind Body Medicine program, PlantStrong, Main Street Vegan, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Together, Jacque and Dr. Alli bring lived experience, medical expertise, coaching, public education, and years of commitment to the development of programming that is practical, evidence-informed, culturally responsive, and designed for real families.

Through Tayo and the Super Produce Pals at the Grocery Store!, children discover that fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains, nuts, and seeds help their bodies grow stronger. The story then leads into cooking activities, food tastings, gardening experiences, and conversations that help children connect food with health in ways they can understand and remember.
