Help Shape Selma University's Future: Support Student Leaders & Change Makers

Restore Hope. Ignite Change. Uplift Selma University's Next Generation of Leaders.

University Location: Selma, Alabama, a city etched into history through courage, resilience, and the fight for civil rights, now faces a new challenge: too many of its youth are being left behind, with limited access to higher education, leadership opportunities, and economic advancement.

But together, we can change that.

Selma University, the city's only Historically Black College and University (HBCU), is a beacon of faith and opportunity. Today, it needs your support to help students unlock their leadership potential and rewrite the story of their community.

This campaign directly funds Selma University's student recruitment and enrollment initiative, a vital effort to increase access to higher education for Selma University's youth. The outreach is led by the Black Student Leadership Summit (BSLS), a national framework designed to strengthen HBCUs by empowering students and supporting recruitment efforts.

By contributing, you're not only helping Selma University grow, you're also advancing a broader mission to lift up HBCUs and their surrounding communities.

Why Selma University? Why Now?

  • Selma University is on a bold mission to transform the student experience—boosting success, not just enrollment.
  • Because this is your moment, and we're changing the game for students who are ready to own it.

Every dollar you give supports:

  • Recruitment & Scholarships to bring bright young leaders to Selma University.
  • Leadership Workshops that train students to drive positive change in their neighborhoods.
  • Community Revitalization by preparing students to tackle real-world challenges in Selma and beyond.
