Sentient Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit think tank and animal sanctuary in Scottsville, Virginia. Our goal is more happiness and less suffering for all sentient beings. The sanctuary, located on 48 acres of field and forest, provides a safe haven for animals and humans. Our think tank asks hard questions about sentience and invites you into conversation and community with fellow animal philosophers.
