We became an official 501(c)(3) in 2021 after long-awaited dreams of rescuing horses and other animals waiting for their sentencing at kill shelters, and combining that mission with the goal to bring healing to women and children who have found themselves in less than ideal situations.

The Teal Elephant Project & Miranda Pace Scholarship are our community service projects that seek to enhance the quality of life for underserved vulnerable children and other individuals in our community by providing meaningful alternative activities such as: equine assisted healing, wellness programs, summer camps, riding academy, parties & other events. As we enter 2023, it is our goal to launch a food security program that will provide our clients with the education and resources to overcome their ever-growing food insecurities by offering a community garden, raising organic chicken, and teaching them how to become more self-sustainable and no longer dependent upon grocery stores to feed themselves.

It is through our current and future programs along with alternative activities that the farm is able to fulfill its mission to facilitate physical and emotional healing in both humans and horses.

While practicing diversity, equality, and inclusion for all, we are able to create a refuge where horse and human come together and are healed from the past, have hope for the future, and are equipped to begin a new life.
