In the remote mountains of Grand-Bois, Haiti, families face heartbreaking challenges every single day. A mother walks miles with her feverish child, hoping the clinic has medicine. A child drinks from a muddy stream because there’s no clean water. A bright student stays home because school fees are out of reach.
But there is hope—and it starts with you.
Since 2001, ServeHAITI has been a lifeline for this community of about 65.000 vibrant, resilient people. Together with the local leaders and community, we’re building a future where healthcare, clean water, education, and economic opportunity are not luxuries—they’re rights.
ServeHAITI employs over 50 Haitian - medical and support personnel, who keep the doors of St. Vincent de Paul Health Center open 24 hours/day. Our staff includes physicians, nurses, pharmacy technicians, administrative assistant, archivist, community health workers (CHWs), water technicians, security sgents, drivers, cooks, a radio manager, and maintenance workers.
This year, we celebrate a powerful milestone: 20 years since the opening of the Health Center in Grand-Bois, Haiti—and the very first mission trip that began it all in 2001. What started as a single journey of compassion has grown into a movement. For two decades, ServeHAITI has walked alongside the people of Grand-Bois, building a future rooted in dignity, resilience, and care.
