Sandy's story: My name is Sandy Studebaker, my daughter is a 17-year-old senior in high school. Her name is Alexis Farver. She a very smart young girl. My whole life has been trying to protect her. At the age of 13 she was diagnosed with endometriosis. The month before that she missed a whole month of school and still came out with As and Bs. Right before her first year in high school, she had her first seizure in Italy. Since then it’s been non-stop. She has a goal in life to go to college and become a vet. Meds help for awhile but then it stops. Her last seizure she fell down my steps and I struggled to come out of it. I am asking for help to get a service dog trained for seizure response. I want her to be able to have the full experience of college. And having this dog will give her the ability to live her own life with out me being right next to her.
