Celeste's story: My name is Celeste, the picture is my daughter Ayla. She is my only daughter and my best friend. She was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy in November of 2014, and Autism in July of 2021. She has had many challenges and I have researched so many things to help her and couldn't find much that wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg. So when talking to her doctor about things we could do to help her with her anxiety and mobility a service dog was the 1st thing that came to question. Now here I find myself on Google searching for places that help with service animals. Merlin's Kids was the 1st that popped up. And as it isn't cheap by any means, even with grants and other things. This isn't something insurance will help with. So fundraising is the next best thing. I am here to help my daughter be more independent, more mobile, and less anxious. I want her to be able to go to the store with me and not have an anxiety attack. I want to take my kids out to eat or to a park full of other kids without her having to be worried about anything. She is 1/4 of my heart and my world. She is so smart and funny and loves everything and everyone. I just want her to be able to be more herself outside of our home. And I know this will help a lot with that. So help me help them to help my baby. Anything helps no donation is too small.
