She Is Us United is a public health–focused organization dedicated to strengthening community response to systemic inequities, policy threats, and public health emergencies that disproportionately impact Black women, families, and historically marginalized populations.

Our work addresses a critical gap between policy decisions and real-world community impact. Too often, legislative actions, public health emergencies, and institutional failures occur without clear communication, coordination, or trauma-informed support for the communities most affected. She Is Us United exists to close that gap.

We operate at the intersection of public health preparedness, policy analysis, and trauma-informed community engagement. Our approach translates complex policy and health information into actionable tools for community leaders, healthcare stakeholders, and advocacy partners, while centering dignity, clarity, and emotional safety.

Core activities include policy monitoring and education, development of rapid-response public health materials, leadership coordination during active crises, and community-based education focused on health equity and systemic accountability. Rather than duplicating direct services, we function as a connector and capacity-builder, aligning stakeholders to respond strategically and collectively.
