Trauma Recovery & Stabilization Program for Women (2026)

This campaign supports the launch of a trauma-informed recovery and stabilization program for women exiting crisis settings in 2026.

Women leaving shelters, hospitals, and unsafe environments often face a dangerous gap between emergency response and long-term healing. While crisis systems address immediate safety, they rarely provide the stabilization, navigation, and sustained support required for recovery.

She Is Us United is building a trauma-informed public health response that bridges this gap.

The program will provide structured group healing, wellness-based support, and individualized recovery navigation designed to stabilize women during the critical post-crisis period. Services are rooted in trauma-informed public health practice and prioritize dignity, safety, and long-term resilience.

Funds raised will support:

• Program launch and coordination

• Trauma-informed group healing sessions

• Wellness and stabilization services

• Individualized recovery navigation and referral support

• Administrative and infrastructure costs necessary to sustain programming

This initiative represents a foundational step in building long-term, scalable trauma recovery infrastructure for women impacted by crisis, displacement, and systemic inequities.
