CRISIS Situation! We have way too many people in need that can't get housing, even if they are working and can afford it! It's not that housing isn't available, but that the housing is not right for folks who are extremely poor and have a bad history!

So we are going to solve homelessness in Muncie one lot, one tiny home at a time.

Hi my name is Joseph Romero, I'm the founder and Outreach Specialist for East Central Indiana. Our Non Profit Origanization The Shepherds Heart and Hands is a 501c3 and we will solve the problem by providing housing and emergency services for East Central Indiana facing homelessness.

We have already ended homelessness for many including those who lived in Homeless Camps, and have helped 1,000 of individuals with receiving love, hot meals, and of course housing.

The problem is we are losing the battle with low income housing due to how people qualify for these residents. This is due to the WALLS (BARRIERS) that prevent folks who should qualify and have the greatest need to be kicked to the curb with sorry we can not help you.

Imagine being evicted because the landlord raises the rent but you been their for years and now you are getting a 30 day notice and have no where to go. So after the eviction you manage to finally find housing but because of the eviction. Sorry we can't take you into our low income housing.

Imagine a man serving time in prison and has a felony record who is ready to work hard and is after being released and is looking forward to having his own place but because he has a felony does not qualify for low income housing. The list is long of the many reasons the walls are keeping the homeless...homeless. but we are changing that!

This will take an army of believers who believe in our cause to solve homelessness.

Providing low income housing solutions and GIVING FOLKS ACCESS
who can't qualify for the normal low income housing is our solution.

REJECTION OF HOUSING keeps the homeless on the streets.
We have many people who work, make money and are able to pay their bills
but can't find a place to give them A SECOND CHANCE because they made a mistake in life.

Muncie is filled with people who lost jobs over the years and lost their apartments, homes, and more. When a business shuts down. People become homeless!

Help us Fix homelessness in Muncie!
Help us provie low income housing in Muncie and East Central Indiana!
