Shield and Valor Foundation Summer Classic

Join us for the inaugural Shield and Valor Foundation Summer Classic Bass Tournament on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Rice Lake near Paynesville, Minnesota.

Hosted at Tinnies Tavern, this event brings together anglers, local businesses, veterans, first responders, and community supporters for a day of fishing, fellowship, and purpose.

Shield and Valor Foundation is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders through healing-centered outdoor experiences, peer connection, and community support. Through fishing trips, outdoor retreats, mentorship, and time in nature, we help create opportunities for restoration, connection, and renewed strength for those who have served.

Mandatory Safety Meeting: 6:45 AM
Launch: 7:00 AM

In addition to tournament payouts, participants will have opportunities to win raffle prizes and enjoy a great day on one of central Minnesota's premier fishing lakes.
