Dear Friends and Family,

👋🏾Help Us Bring Confidence and Joy to Our Kids This Festive Season. 

As Christmas approaches, we’re reaching out to ask for your help in making this season truly special for the children in our care as we continue on with our family strengthening and reunification process. Despite our love of hand-me-downs, many of their clothes and shoes have been worn for close to two years. The older kids generously pass down what they can to the younger ones but it’s time for a fresh start and some fresh kicks!

We aim to raise $4,500, which will be used as follows:

• $1,000 to purchase new clothes for the children.

• $500 to buy sturdy, comfortable shoes.

• $500 for a Christmas meal that will serve over 60 kids and extend food packages to seven families we support during this festive season.

• $2,400 for a year of rent at our children’s home which is haven of love, friendship, safety, and support for those children that have found themselves without it. 

Having clothes that fit and look good isn’t just about practicality—it’s about dignity, confidence, and belonging. We all know what it feels like to wear something we feel proud of. We want to give each child that gift of self-esteem, so they can walk into school, church, or community events with a sense of pride. These new clothes and shoes will give them that boost, that will remind them that they were specifically, individually, and beautifully created with purpose. 

In addition, we want to gather the children for a festive Christmas meal—a celebration of love, hope, and the joy of togetherness. It’s a chance for these kids to feel cherished and create warm memories to carry into the new year.
