Shingle All The Way: A Holiday Campaign to Raise the Roof for Camp Haiastan

This holiday season, AYF Camp Haiastan is excited to bring a new twist to our annual Giving Tuesday and Christmas fundraiser. In place of our traditional Christmas Card Appeal, we invite you to join our Shingle All The Way campaign to raise $10,000 for much-needed roof repairs on Bunk 1 and Bunk 2. The heart of AYF Camp Haiastan beats strongest in its community, where generations have come together to build, preserve, and cherish this special place.

With a minimum donation of $50, you can still share your holiday wishes with the Camp Haiastan family! Here’s how it works:

Submit your one-line Christmas or New Year message, which will be featured in our digital Christmas Card, and shared with all of Camp’s supporters.

Built in 1999, Bunk 1 and 2 have been a home away from home for countless campers and staff. These two buildings, housing 12 beds each, have sheltered laughter, late-night talks, and lifelong friendships. From housing "fun staff" in the early 2000s, to first-time campers nervously unpacking their bags to seasoned veterans excited to reunite with friends, these bunks are where memories begin.

But after 25 years of providing shelter and warmth, these bunks are in need of some love. The roofs, battered by years of New England weather, are showing their age. Cracks and leaks are threatening the comfort and safety of the campers who call them home every summer.

This Christmas, Shingle All The Way is your chance to help Camp Haiastan shine brighter than ever. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to repair the roofs of Bunk 1 and 2, ensuring they remain safe, cozy, and welcoming for future campers.
