Shivonne's Race to 40 Fundraiser!!

In a few weeks, April 14 will mark another trip around the sun for me (Shivonne). And...it's a milestone. The big 40! 🫢

For my birthday, I would like to raise at least $1,000 for Shelter Street Dogs. Not only have I had the honor to work with this rescue for the past 2 years, but my latest foster fail was rescued from euthanasia because of them.

If 25 members of our amazing community can donate $40 (in honor of my 40th birthday), the goal of $1,000 can be met! With the slew of unexpected medical urgencies and emergencies these past few months along with unexpected intakes, meeting (or even exceeding) this goal would mean so much. Shelter Street Dogs is one of the very few rescues I have seen who actually invests in training for dogs with behaviors. And that to me, is extremely special and appreciated.

Donations have been extremely low. Rescuing dogs isn't free. So, as hard as it is for me to turn another year older, I would like nothing more than to see this birthday fundraiser goal be met!
