Namaste and Ubumwe–Handcrafted goods from Berwa Kinunu

Thank you for purchasing a kitenge (a type of brightly patterned cotton fabric from East Africa) yoga mat bag to help support Meditation Without Borders and the Berwa Kinunu Meditation/Yoga Program. Each bag was lovingly handmade by a teenage mother supported by the Berwa Kinunu School. 

The Berwa Kinunu School located by Lake Kivu, Rwanda provides educational resources, job training, and other services to help teen mothers in rural areas establish a career in tailoring.

We aim to create a meditation/yoga center at Berwa Kinunu and go back to the school in 2026 for a return teaching trip. The funds raised through purchases of the handcrafted items will support this endeavor.
