Born on the courts, built by players, driven by inclusivity, diversity, and competition. #SHOWTHEM how pickleball provides motivation, joy, physical, mental, social and emotional wealth. #SHOWTHEM why we stay out there for hours on end, game after game after game, laughing, connecting, sharing space and resources, winning friends, & losing weight. #SHOWTHEM why we can’t stop won’t stop talking about it. #SHOWTHEM why our retention rates are sky high, why the numbers don’t lie. The age of our players ranges from 5-95. For that reason alone, and by a very large margin, we will absolutely be the largest group of people in the world. #SHOWTHEM why that matters…

#SHOWTHEM THIS is the sport that continues to show you not to judge a book by its cover. You will be humbled. You will get CRUSHED by people of every socioeconomic class, age, shape, color & size, every religion and set of political beliefs, every perceived ability, style and shape of foot and athletic wear. This sport levels the playing field and embraces EVERY BODY. #SHOWTHEM

#SHOWTHEM we are the most accepting and diverse group of people by demonstrating how well we all play together, that we don’t even need to speak the same language to have a fun and competitive game. #SHOWTHEM how pickleball is the common language. #SHOWTHEM how pickleball transcends all the barriers.

#SHOWTHEM how easy it is to learn! Invite them out to the courts and #SHOWTHEM the ropes. #SHOWTHEM what the paddle saddle or rotation system is. #SHOWTHEM they can feel comfortable to show up by themselves! 90% of the people you see at the courts come alone! We are making a huge difference combatting physical inactivity, boredom, sadness, & loneliness! Keep going! #SHOWTHEM we are the sport every pocket of the world needs, where strangers become friends faster than people you work with for years. That’s a culture to which I am proud to belong.

#SHOWTHEM We are here to serve. #SHOWTHEM how #pickleballprovides. The PFA now requires item drives at our tournaments because we can and love to share. We’re redirecting resources to communities in need in order to show the governments and municipalities that we care about more needs than our own.

#SHOWTHEM we are the most thoughtful traveling community; travel with extra materials and donate to international communities as you move. We’ll connect you to the right people, who need.

#SHOWTHEM we show up and come together by donating to this movement. Let’s #SHOWTHEM what happens when we all offer a little to a much bigger cause. It takes a village and a lot of determination. We know it and we show it more than we say it. #SHOWUP!

The money goes straight to Peace in Pickleball and the Pickleball Federation of the Americas, towards paving new courts and roads, education, scholarships & grants, wheelchairs for para-athletes, and providing exceptional opportunities.

#SHOWTHEM Heroes

Danielle Gamarra is the current Captain and Champion of the Panamanian National Team but he only started playing pickleball in the last few years. Prior to that he didn’t know English. One day he was the curious kid watching from the bleachers and the next he was on a new path. Some expats gifted him with his first paddle and pair of tennis shoes. It changed his life forever.

Even though his journey just started it includes paying it forward as he coaches people in the neighborhood for free. One of those people is a wheelchair player named Luis Castillo. Luis has become quite good. He won his first medal in early 2026 against all standing players, and now also coaches. When we met Luis he was playing in a barely functioning regular wheelchair. We reached out to this outrageously beautiful community - the pickleballers of the world - and asked if anyone knew where we could find a sport chair. For a variety of medical reasons there is a lot of red tape around providing a wheelchair to a paraplegic. But we found someone - IN GUATEMALA - who was willing to help.

This is just one example of how we #SHOWTHEM we #SHOWUP.

The Pickleball Federation of the Americas (PFA) is responsible for establishing standards, best practices, and growth of pickleball in North, Central & South America, as well as the Caribbean, and a member of Global Pickleball Federation.

Peace in Pickleball (PiP) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. that collects and delivers pickleball equipment to international communities.

Pickleball for Good Fund (PGF) is a Colorado registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit grantmaker that also offers a dedicated fundraising platform and consultation to the pickleball community.
