Raider Catholic is proud to host: The Man of the Shroud, a presentation on the Shroud of Turin, given by Jim Bertrand, M. Ed. & Shroud Expert.

Mr. Bertrand is Nebraska’s local Shroud expert speaker and has been presenting on the Shroud for several years. Along with his powerful presentation, he brings with him a full-size replica of the Holy Shroud. We encourage parishes reserving the Man of the Shroud exhibit throughout the year to check his availability (details below).

The Holy Shroud of Turin shows the mysterious image of a man who was scourged, crucified, crowned with a cap of thorns , and suffered a lance-wound in the side after death. You are invited to see for yourself, the historical and scientific evidence which is compelling for its authenticity. Unless you plan to visit Turin, Italy someday, this may be the closest you ever get to the 'real thing' because a rare actual size replica of the Shroud will be on display as well. Shroud expert, Jim Bertrand, M.Ed. will give this unique presentation on Tuesday Nov. 16 at 7:30 pm at St Elizabeth's on the Texas Tech Campus.At the conclusion of the talk there will be time for your questions to be answered. The event will finish around 8:30pm.
