Signal Hill Community Garden exists to enhance the West Belleville community through modeling environmental stewardship, enabling access to food growth for all, and fostering a learning environment.  

The Garden is powered entirely by volunteer efforts and all donations to the organization are used exclusively for upkeep of the garden property (water bills, liability insurance costs, etc.) and in furtherance of its mission.

The Garden (Registered in Illinois as 95th Street Community Garden) is an IRS-approved 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations to the organization are generally tax-deductible; please consult a tax professional to understand what deduction opportunities are applicable to your individual tax situation.
