At St. Joe’s Soup Kitchen, a meal is more than just food. It’s dignity, community, and care.
For nearly 50 years, our all-volunteer team has been serving hot, homemade lunches every Saturday to our neighbors in need. Every week, we provide over 300 meals to New York City’s hungry and unhoused population. We offer not just nourishment, but a warm welcome and a sense of belonging.
St. Joe’s is an independent, nonsectarian organization that relies entirely on volunteers, local businesses, and the generosity of our community to keep the kitchen running. Your support helps us purchase fresh groceries, maintain essential supplies, and continue providing compassionate, respectful service to those who need it most.
Our donation efforts are open year-round. Every dollar goes directly toward feeding people with dignity and care. Help us keep the kitchen full, the plates warm, and the spirit of community alive throughout the year.
Donate today and make a lasting impact, one meal at a time.
