9 days after giving birth to her 5th child (a beautiful baby girl), Shelby Slaughter was admitted into the ICU and placed under sedation in an emergency medical situation. With her husband by her side and a community rallying to pray and provide care for her children, Shelby’s health miraculously began to improve! We celebrate Shelby's recovery and are rallying again to help the Slaughter family for the journey ahead. Shelby is still hospitalized and her path to full health and mobility will include residential physical therapy and months of continued care.

As Shelby’s husband, Nate, will take on caregiving responsibilities for his wife and 5 children (including their newborn) their family is in need of financial support in the coming months. This is our opportunity as friends, acquaintances, and generous strangers to rally with our money to help meet the financial needs of this dear family. Whether near or far, with much or little, we can all help make a difference for this family!
