I want to live in a world in which everyone has access to the basics in life--healthcare, nutritious food, and a home. Unfortunately, this is not the case in our country. The system in this country leaves so many people behind, and unfortunately, sometimes emergency shelter is needed temporarily. Beacon, Inc. provides that for people through our emergency shelter, A Friend's Place. At A Friend's Place, people are treated with respect and kindness, and are supported in finding permanent housing. At lease they have shelter while other programs through Beacon, Inc. offer meals and work to help people get back on their feet. Your support can help us keep the doors open at A Friend's Place.
