The SonHaven Workshop

The SonHaven Workshop is a foundational project within our Stewardship Initiative. It is a working environment being developed to provide hands-on training, practical skill development, and shared access to tools and space for those who want to learn how to build, repair, and create.

We are currently building out a multi-use shop that includes dedicated areas for woodworking, metalworking, and stone work such as cutting, carving, and polishing. These spaces are designed to be functional places where individuals can work with real materials, develop real skills, and gain confidence in their ability to create and maintain what they use.

The next phase of this project is to expand into a basic auto repair and mechanical workspace, allowing for additional training and practical application. This will broaden the range of skills that can be learned and shared within the environment.

Our current goal is to raise $20,000 to complete the shop build-out. These funds will go directly toward essential tools, equipment, workspace setup, and infrastructure needed to make the shop fully operational.

This shop is being built to restore the ability to do things with your hands, to teach individuals how to build, to repair, to solve problems, and to contribute in practical ways. Over time, this space will support training, shared knowledge, and the development of skills that can be carried into everyday life.

Every contribution helps move this project forward—turning an unfinished space into a place where real work, learning, and stewardship can take place.
