We know that children cannot learn and grow if they do not have access to meals. Educators and school staff in our area are faced with the challenge of observing children who must have less than others - and sometimes nothing at all. We can help.

The SMTAR Caring 4 Children School Lunch Program challenges our neighbors to donate just $20(or more), through our program, to their local school district to help pay the balances of student lunch accounts. Funds are being collected by the SMTAR Public Relations and Core Standards Compliance Committee and will be distributed through the area school districts to student accounts who need it the most.

Our program covers 8 counties in Southern Middle Tennessee: Giles, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Marshall, Maury, Perry and Wayne. When making a donation, you have the option of selecting a single county or donating to all counties.
