Smudge’s Road to Recovery

On April 3rd, Smudge had a CT scan to finally get answers — and while we now have a path forward, it’s a difficult one.

Smudge needs bilateral TPLO surgeries, meaning both of her knees will need to be repaired to give her a chance at a pain-free life.

Right now, she’s still all smiles — soaking up love with her fosters — but underneath it, she’s living with constant discomfort that will only worsen without surgery.

We are increasing Smudge’s fundraising goal to $6,500, which will cover:

• Her CT scan

• The first of her two TPLO surgeries

In order to even get her scheduled, we must raise $5,500 upfront for the surgical deposit.

We know it’s a big ask — but Smudge is worth it.

She deserves to run, play, and live without pain. Right now, she’s depending on us to make that possible.
