Help us bring our live animal programs to Oakland 3rd grade classrooms this fall! 

Things That Creep has partnered with the Oakland Unified School District to enhance a 3rd grade literacy curriculum unit on frogs by integrating locally-focused science into existing curriculum. 

A donation of $175 brings Bay Area frogs, snakes and lizards into one classroom, bringing science to life in a new way!

During our programs, students will engage in a 40-minute session with bilingual educators through hands-on interactions with our live, safe-to-handle animal ambassadors. These sessions encourage curiosity as students observe, touch, ask questions, and connect with local wildlife in a new way. Through these interactions, empathy is created for the animals that share our outside spaces, fostering safer human-wildlife interactions.
