Support Our Market Families During the Holiday Season

Although the federal government has reopened, many of our neighbors continue to feel uncertain about how they’ll put food on the table in the weeks ahead. At the Waco Downtown Farmers Market, we’re committed to ensuring that fresh, local food remains within reach for everyone — no matter what.

Here’s what’s still available:

• SNAP benefits are still accepted at the Market and matched dollar-for-dollar through our Double Up Food Bucks Program.

• Previously issued Double Up Food Bucks vouchers are still valid for seasonal local produce every Saturday at the Market.

Your donation to the Market’s Food Access Programs will go directly toward helping households bridge this critical gap. Donations will purchase  grocery essentials from Farmers Market vendors — like fresh produce, meat, bread, cheese, eggs, jam, and coffee — and be donated to families in need. 

These efforts build on our long-standing Food Access Programs, which have connected thousands of Central Texans with nutritious, locally grown food since 2011.

Together, we can ensure that our Market continues to feed both body and community — especially when it matters most.
