Our hunts weave through breathtaking landscapes, where riders, hounds, and horses work in harmony to follow the scent of coyotes and embrace the thrill of the sport.  Sierra Nevada Hounds offers mounted hunting events where riders are challenged to follow the hounds as they follow a coyote scent trail.  We practice non-lethal predator control.    

At heart this is a strong community that comes together around a love of a sport involving horses and hounds and all sorts of other fun activities. We foster the intergenerational aspects of our group.  We cherish our land and the wildlife it supports. We care for the land;  we offer the experience to the young as an opportunity for them to learn responsibility and respect,  to improve their riding skills, to interact across several generations, and to create new friendships. We want to preserve this sport for the future.
