If you haven't figured it out yet, the story above was an analogy/metaphor. In the story, Henry (the man that needed a heart surgery) represented Memphis, Tennessee and the surrounding Mid-South. The compassionate and dedicated heart surgeon (named Dr. Deen Ramirez) represented Royal Chatman and his 501c3 organization: Sources of Intervention Produce Seeds of Prevention.

As we look across the entire United States of America, we realize that the stakes are high when it comes to finding then implementing solutions that are aimed at effectively engaging at-risk youth then equipping them with the tools necessary to live a changed life!

Anyone that finds themselves involved in this arena (empowering at-risk youth) realizes that the solution(s) will not be cheap and they must provide measurable value! Remember, if the solution is the cheapest, then it cannot be one of the best! And, if it is one of the best, it cannot be the cheapest!
